The University of Wisconsin Parkside has been home of the Midwest Regional for the past 31 years and has spawned the career of many runners who went on to become national champion including Adam Goucher, Jorge Torres, Dathan Ritzenhein, Chris Solinsky, Grant Fisher, Molly Seidel, Melody Fairchild and Anna Rohrer.

Runners may only participate in one race.

1:45 PM Open Race
Any runner, whether they are in a public school, home school, boarding school, private school or independent school, must run in the seeded race in order to qualify for the National Finals in San Diego.

Fees and Mail In Entry Deadlines
• Print clearly or type information on entry form
• Entries cannot be accepted without all proper signatures under wavier. NO REFUND OR TRANSFERS WILL BE GIVEN.
• Early bird entries received by November 1st will be charged $15.00. • Entries after November 1st but on or before November 19th will be charged $20.00.
• Entries will be accepted by mail until November 23rd and will be charged $25.00.
• Entries mailed November 17th through November 23rd should be sent by an overnight service. The address for the overnight service is Foot Locker Cross Country, 603 Sixth Street, Racine, WI 53403.
• If your entry has not been received by November 23rd for any reason, you will be required to pay a $35.00 late entry deposit fee to participate in the race. This fee will be held, then returned when the original entry and fee are received. The original entry must show a postmark that indicates FLCCC should have received the entry by November 23rd or sooner to have your deposit returned.
• For multiple entries, please make photocopies of both the entry form and waiver.
• Confirmation: Send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your completed entry form or check the website www.footlockercc.com.

Parent/Coach Award and Discount

Every parent or coach who submits ten (10) or more entries together will receive a complimentary race jacket. The entries that you submit will be charged $15.00 per entry, provided that we receive your entries before the November 17th deadline. If you would like to register your group online, please contact Peter Henkes for instructions.
Packet Pickup
Runners may pick up their race number and participant T-shirt at the: The UW-Parkside Sports & Activities Center
Pick up is on Friday, November 25th between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26th.

Additional Housing Information
Race Course
The course is 5000 meters and consists of grass and dirt paths. Spikes are permitted. School uniforms are not allowed. The course is open 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th.
Free chicken noodle soup, coffee and hot chocolate will be served at the course on Friday from 11:00a.m. until 3:00p.m.
Elite FLCC Alumni athletes will be on site from 12:00 - 5:00 on Friday to chat and sign autographs.The course is closed for warm-ups on Saturday, November 26th.

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside race course is located in northern Kenosha County, five miles south of Racine. Milwaukee is 25 miles north. Chicago is 60 miles south. Highway I-94 passes four miles west of the campus. Highway E runs east from I-94 and leads directly to the race course.
The 3K course follows the first 2800m of the 5K course
States Competing
Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and U.S. citizens in Overseas Military Installations.
The state where a runner resides determines in which regional meet he/she must participate. Runners must participate in the region to which their state has been assigned. Boarding school students must compete in the region of their school location. Non U.S. citizens who attend high school in the U.S. and who meet the age requirement may compete. Home-schooled students may compete in the region of their residence during the school year.
Race Description
Boys Seeded Race
Qualification for the Boys Seeded race is determined by the runner's previous best time. Junior and Senior boys who have run faster than 16:20 may consider running in the seeded race. Freshman and Sophomore boys who have run faster than the 16:20 qualifying time have the option of competing in the seeded race or Freshman/Sophomore race. Show up for the race you choose to run. You do not need to inform officials of your choice prior to the run.
Girls Seeded Race and Girls Freshman/Sophomore Race
All Junior and Senior girls must compete in the Girls Seeded race. Freshman and Sophomore girls have the option of competing in the Seeded Race or the Freshman/Sophomore race. Show up for the race you choose to run. You do not need to inform officials of your choice prior to the run.
Boys Freshman/Sophomore Race
All Freshman and Sophomore boys who do not qualify for the Boys Seeded Race compete in the Boys Freshman/Sophomore Race.
Boys Junior/Senior Race
All Junior and Senior boys who do not qualify for the Boys Seeded race compete in the Boys Junior/Senior Race.
Open Race
This 5000 meter race is open to runners in the following divisions: Open, and Masters (ages 40 and over). Each entrant will receive a T-shirt. High school runners may not run in the Open Race. Middle School athletes may choose to run in either the Coach Fed 3K or the Open 5K.
The top ten (10) female and male runners in each division will receive a medal.
Coach Fed Youth Championship
Runners in 8th grade and under can run in the Youth Championship 3000m Race. Medals to the top 15 individuals and top 3 boys and girls teams will be awarded. Five or more runners make a team. Note team name on entry blank.
Awards and National Qualifiers
Individual Medals
The top twenty-four (24) finishers in all high school races are awarded medals.
Youth Championship
Medals to the top 15 individuals and top 3 boys and girls teams will be awarded.
Open Race
The top ten finishers in each division (Open and Masters) will receive a medal.
Participant's Awards
Every runner in every race will receive a T-shirt and a meet program highlighting the previous 37 years of Foot Locker races, as well as previewing this year's race.
State Team Awards
The top five (5) individual male and female finishers from every state in the boys and girls' seeded races constitute that state's "team." Each individual on the first five (5) state teams is awarded a medal. The scoring system will be based on total points (non displacement).
National Qualifiers
The top 10 runners in the Boys Seeded Race and Girls Seeded Race qualify for the National Finals held on December 10, 2016 in San Diego, CA.
FLCCC Race Apparel
Official Foot Locker Cross Country Championships event product can be purchased at packet pickup on Friday or at the race site on Saturday, November 26th.
All participants will receive a Foot Locker Cross Country race shirt.
