| Overall feelings about the race: The beginning of the race was a little rough, I didn't get out and got boxed in pretty bad. It was a little hard establishing position so I just sat back and waited for an opening to sort of work my way up. The first time up the hill the pack spread out a little bit and it was less cluttered for the rest of the race. I was not very happy with my lack of a kick at the end of the race and getting passed in the last 100 meters. |

| Best part of the race: I made most of my ground going up the hill. I usually try to take hills relatively hard and I think the hill was a make or break for a lot of the girls, depending on whether or not you are a hill-charger. |
