Overall feelings about the race: I went out pretty quickly and just gauged off of the leaders and sat in a position that I was comfortable with. I underestimated the course too, I knew the hill would be rough, but I assumed that the ground would have better footing and the rest of the course wouldn't have been as hilly. I hung on to the leaders and really wanted to put myself in a position that I would be able to say I have given it my all in this race. I tightened up quite a bit at the bottom of the hill after I dropped off the pack. I was passed into the finish, but I had absolutely nothing left to give and am proud of my 6th place finish!
Best part of the race:  The best part of my race was being able to finish on empty. I really wanted to run a race where I had given all of my ability. I felt as if I hadn't really been pushed to my absolute limit all year, so this was an extremely gratifying experience.
The FLCC Experience:  Incredible. I have made so many friends here, everyone is so nice, the workers are amazing and the level of support they are able toprovide you is astounding. It is a storybook ending to my senior year!

Personal note:  I want to thanke first of all, my parents and everyone else who has supported me throughout the season. The encouragement I recieve is absolutely mind-boggling. I cannot thank these people enough, and even the smallest contributions that others have made to my success certainly do not go unnoticed
