Overall feelings about the race: It went well, I started out near the back, which was my plan, but it's always a little discouraging to see all those girls in front of you but I ended up working the hills and moving into a close 11th in the end with some of my other south girls!
Best part of the race:  The best part of my race was realizing that all the other south girls were rocking it and that I could make All American.
The FLCC Experience:  It's been one if the best weekends of my life, I love my south team and the great energy all the girls bring in. Also hanging out with Lauren Fleshman was awesome, and really is encouraging for the future( hope her baby does well)! Also being in the Del has been AMAZING, I've never been in Cali before so I really loved footlocker and am thankful and very blessed by God .

Personal note:  I just want to thank Coach Burleson and Coach Zoe for making my High School XC career such a dream and being there for me very step of the way! Also all of my team ( grace, seniors, and freshman) has been the most supportive thing ever for me so they have made a big difference this year. Also my mom and step-dad also of course have been there ( a little too much sometimes (; ) and have made this possible. Lastly I'd like to thank my sisters, God, and all the running community that has gotten me here :D
