Overall feelings about the race: I did not have my best day, as I had to drop out halfway through. I had bronchitis and a sinus infection earlier in the week, and was hoping I had recovered enough to have a good race today. From the start I was not feeling as good as I should've, and I realized quickly that my body wasn't delivering the oxygen it needed to to keep going.
Best part of the race:  The atmosphere at the start is really cool.
The FLCC Experience:  The race did not go how I planned, but in the end there was nothing I could do about it. There are some things you cannot control, and this was one of them. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to come back to Footlocker for a 2nd year, and really made sure to enjoy the experience of it all this time. There's not too many opportunities to spend a free weekend in San Diego. I've really enjoyed the people I've met this weekend, and Footlocker treats us really well.

Personal note:  I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for all their support. They've been really proud of me and supported me through all of my successes, and even when I can't perform how I want to, they still have been there for me. I especially want to thank my parents: for 4 years they've done so much for me, supporting me at all my meets, driving me all over the place to visit colleges, and helping me get through some rough times during my high school career.
