Overall feelings about the race: My race went really well. I had hoped to do a little better, but when you are racing the best kids in the country you never know what to expect. The first loop went out a lost faster then I had expected and that definitely took a big toll on me. I was totally exhausted near the finish line but nearing the end I sprinted as hard as I could and past 2 people right at the end. I am extremely happy with how my race ended.
Best part of the race:
The best part of my race whas definitely having one final sprint to the finish at the end. It is the last time I will get to do that in cross country so being able to pass people at the end is always exciting.
The FLCC Experience:  This entire experience has been unbelievable. The entire weekend has been like a dream for runners. I was able to meet all of my idols like Ryan Hall, Meb, Adam Goucher, and Bob Kennedy. It was also great to meet all of the other runners and make friendships that will last a life time. I have had such a great weekend and I do not want it to end.
Personal note:
I would just like to thank my parents for doing so much for me and helping me through all of the tough times. I would also like to thank all of my friends for supporting me and wishing me luck. This has been an amazing experience and I could not have done it without you
