Patrick Perrier
Overall feelings about the race: I got out pretty hard with the lead pack, and I sat in around 6-10 for 2-2.5 miles and then fell off as I went up the large hill for the second time. I ended up finishing in 19th.
Best part of the race:  The best part was just being able to have the ability to run against the top 40 runners in the country. I had always been on the outside looking when it came to national meets. This was the first time I got to be amongst so many fantastic runners and it was a lot of fun.
The FLCC Experience:  It honestly was a 5 star experience. They treat you like professionals out here, and the biggest concern of everybody out here is to make sure you have fun and are at your best. All of the other runners out here are amazing people and I had so much fun hanging out with all of them.

Personal note:  I just want to definitely thank my mom and dad for always being a great support network. Those two are definitely my rocks and biggest supporters. I also want to thank everybody that is part of the O'Fallon Cross Country family. Every person that has been part of this program has had a part in making me a better person and a better runner.
