Overall feelings about the race: My race went well. It went out really quickly, but I expected that going into it so I was prepared. I tried to hold myself back on the first lap and just stay as relaxed as I possibly could and then kick it in with everything I had left.
Best part of the race:  I think the best part of my race, and of every race, is the finish. When I see the last straight away I just tell myself that it's the end and to leave everything out there and push myself so hard. It's a great part of the race for me because I can really improve so much in my race and then it is over and it makes me so happy that I did push myself when I am done.
The FLCC Experience:  The experience was so amazing! The Northeast girls really bonded so well and the Northeast roomed with the South girls and my roommate was so nice and sweet! The activities that were planned were so much fun and we went shopping and walked on the beach and will go ice skating! It is just so much fun and the weather is fantastic! I am so happy that I got to take part in this!

Personal note:  Thank you for all of the support that everyone has given me. My friends and family are always there for me and are always cheering my on and that is so important to me and I can't even express how much it means to me! I really appreciate it!
