| Overall feelings about the race: My race went well. I was afraid if I went out too fast I would die so I started out slow. I found myself in last place so I was thinking I better move up. During the second mile I started to pick off people here and there and really used the hills to my advantage. I was really able to kick it in at the end and I finished 31st. |

| Best part of the race: The best part of my race was the second and third miles when I started to move up and catch some people. I'm usually not as strong during the middle of the race so to have more energy during the middle was awesome. |

Personal note: I just want to thank everyone who has supported me and tell them I love them. If it wasn't for people listening to me when I just needed someone to talk to and to always instill confidence in me then I probably wouldn't be where I am today. I especially want to thank everyone that was able to make it to the race today and cheer me on! |
